《夢の花嫁》是《情書》日本電影大師岩井俊二埋首多年籌備之最新編導作品，故事講述虛擬世界的疑幻似真讓人深陷而不能自拔，以他一貫的夢幻方式向大眾展示日本社會的真實一面。在媒體發達的年代，不論在現實或虛擬世界中，我們都認識了一堆又一堆新名字。

新現象隨之急促湧現，社交網絡是人們交流溝通的主要渠道，相比在現實世界中面對面交談，我們看似走得更近。特別在日本這個孕育萬象的社會中，社交網絡就是人們內心百態的投射，有的歡樂、風趣，也有更多意想不到的……

Synopsis
In the age of social media, we have all amassed a collection of names – both real and virtual. A new phenomenon has sprouted, one where people haveturned to connecting with others on social media services (SNS), rather than talking to them in the real world, and they seem to get along better –
especially in Japan, where modesty saturates every aspect of life, SNS allows users to project a certain version of themselves –  someone funnier, wittier, and more explicit.

Director IWAI Shunji has spent the past few years researching themes that would best showcase modern Japanese society, and he found SNS was by far the most fascinating. Iwai, known for his fairytale-esk storytelling, as with “April Story” and “Hana and Alice”, uses this new film to showcase his new muse Haru Kuroki, winner of the Silver Bear Award for Best Actress at the 64th Berlin International Film Festival.
